NIKKITA HOLDER
Hey, my name is Nikkita,  let me spell that for you!
N - I - double K - I - T - A. What’s in my name? I was named after the former Russian Premier Nikita Khruchshev and the ever so popular Elton John song "Nikita". Strong and powerful yet soft and gentle.

Nikita – Elton John 1985
[Chorus]
Oh, Nikita, you will never know
Anythin' about my home
I'll never know how good it feels to hold you
Nikita, I need you so
Oh, Nikita, is the other side of any given line in time
Countin' ten tin soldiers in a row
Oh no, Nikita, you'll never know

Not your average woman: I am a black woman, mother, two time Olympian and international athlete. This is just a little piece of my story.

As a world class athlete competing at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, I have faced a number of hurdles in my career, (no pun intended) including my entanglement with hurdle 9 in the 2016 Olympic semi finals race where my medal dreams came to a crashing halt.
My greatest athletic accomplishment come by way of my Bronze medal performance in the 2015 Pan American Games. My coach jokes that I lost silver by a nipple.

As the mother to a handsome, precocious 7 year old.  My son Kaedence fills my heart with rhythm.  His name is a reflection of how my heart beats. His life is my existence! #myheartbeatswithkaedence
My story doesn’t end there… I am passionate about my craft and my ability to empower the next generation of greatness!
My vision is to awaken your inner Olympian. Teach you how to be strong within your vulnerability, be courageous in your scariest moments and find the power within your potential!
